Green Tea Smoothie

You may already know the various benefits of drinking green tea.  This little drink is MIGHTY!  Green tea is filled with antioxidants and nutrients which fight free radicals and protect your body’s cells and molecules from damage.  Essentially – green tea fights all sorts of diseases, protects heart health, improves brain function, lowers blood pressure, reduces cholesterol and boosts metabolism.

Ingredients

    • 1.5 cups organic green tea
    • 1 banana
    • 1 lemon
    • 2 cups spinach
    • 1 teaspoon raw honey

Directions

  • Steep tea for about 4 minutes and cool off
  • Add tea and all other ingredients to a blender
  • Blend until smooth
  • Enjoy!
