Watermelon Strawberry Smoothie

With the warmer weather finally upon us, I’ve decided to create a refreshing, thirst-quenching smoothie perfect for those beautiful days outdoor…. oh I can’t wait!

Ingredients

    • 2 big slices watermelon
    • 8 strawberries
    • 1.5 cups almond milk
    • 1 lime

Directions

  • Blend all ingredients well
  • Garnish with mint
  • Serve cold

I used unsweetened almond milk for this recipe.  You can choose the sweetened version, or simply add a bit of honey to make your smoothie sweeter!

This beautiful drink will help your body maintain a proper balance between acidity and alkalinity (pH balance), keep you hydrated, and provide the well needed fibre, antioxidants and vitamins A, B6 and C.  Needless to say, this drink is not only pretty and delicious, it is also SUPER beneficial!
