I have always liked radishes and knew of their nutritional benefits. Having said that, I could eat one or two of these red beauties and be done, you know? I mean, how many radishes can a person eat in one sitting? 😉
I recently heard of the exceptional benefits of radishes when it comes to kidney health and dissolving kidney stones. And since I need help in that department (lucky me!), I thought, I must increase my intake!
I started to experiment with juicing radishes and guess what? I can drink a whole bunch in one sitting;) Ha! If you’re looking for a nutrition packed juice, this one is a definite option for you!
- 1 bunch radish (approx. 10)
- 1 lemon
- 1 apple (any apple will do, but the sweeter the better!)
- Wash radishes and cut off the stem, root and leaves
- Peel lemon and cut into wedges
- Core apple and cut into large slices (leave skin on)
- Run all ingredients through juicer
- Stir juice well and serve cold
- Add ice if desired
